Moisés Luzia Pinto (b. 1976) obtained the Ph.D. in Chemistry (Physical Chemistry), at the end of 2005, at the University of Lisbon. Developed Post-doctoral research at the Center of Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon and at the Centre for Research in Ceramics and Composite Materials of the University of Aveiro. MLP works in the field of adsorbent materials, namely in the synthesis and characterization of adsorbent materials and composite adsorbent/polymer materials, and in gas and VOC mixture separations. More recently, he is developing research in the field of nanoporous materials obtained from clays and hybrid organic/inorganic materials, for purification, storage and controlled release of gases.
