Roberta Lobarinhas holds a bachelor’s degree in Geology and a master’s degree in Geosciences where she specialized in the Valorization of Geological Resources, both from Universidade do Minho. Her thesis dissertation entitled: “Evidence and descriptive analysis of portuguese exotic lithotypes with ornamental aptitude” was conducted in partnership with companies in the Ornamental Stone Sector. In October 2021 she was awarded with a PhD scholarship from CERENA's Strategic Project funded by FCT to study the vulnerability of Portuguese stone to high temperatures.
