Elena Castaño Casco holds a degree in Physics from the University of Seville, Spain, and a Masters in Industrial Mathematics from the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. She is currently a Ph.D. student in the Environmental Science and Technology research line at the University of Huelva, Spain, under the Nuclear Safety Council resolution to carry out the project Radon exhalation from construction materials, radiological impact and corrective measures (EXRADÓN). She is doing an international stay at CERENA, Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP).
