Professor at the IST (Department of Civil Engineering, Architectural and Georesources) in areas of geophysical prospecting, applied and environmental geology, mineralogy and pedology, has a degree in Geological Engineering (University of Aveiro), a MSc in Internal Geophysics (FCUL) and a Ph.D. from IST in Mining Engineering on “Environmental Geophysics”. Main research interests are geophysical prospecting applied to environment and stone cultural heritage.
