Ana C. worked in the engineering industry until 1995 and currently collaborates with it while serving as a
Professor at ISEP, where I was Vice-Director of the Mathematics Department (2008–2012). She is also a member of the Portuguese
Association of Risks, Prevention, and Security and has participated in interdisciplinary R&D projects, gaining extensive experience in project leadership and co-leadership.

Her main research interests include safety and risk management, prescribed fires and wildfires and environment sustainability.
