On February 27th, CERENA-IST researcher Maria Amélia Dionísio visited the Agrupamento de Escolas Ferreira de Castro in Sintra, as part of the "Programa Cientificamente Provável." Over 90 9th-grade students participated in a session focused on the role of mineral and energy resources in modern society. With an interactive educational game about these topics, students explored how minerals are vital in fields such as medicine, transport, and even cooking. Reaching and inspiring the next generations is a pillar of working in science and education.
